Here is the Drum –
1.Do your planning.
That is, go beyond just setting a goal and move it beyond being a vague idea or dream. Sometimes we would rather dream about things than actually do them. That’s fine, but keep those ideas as dreams. Goals however, require clear intention and a clear statement, a plan with action steps and YES they require energy and action.
2. Follow through.
Your mojo may wax and wane depending on your time and energy but your ability to chip away and follow through with the realistic plans and staying consistent with your intention, is the key to nailing the goal. Distractions for some of us are inevitable. Have a regular discipline of checking in with yourself or an accountability buddy can keep you on track.
3. Don’t be disheartened.
To stay accountable and not quit your goal can be tricky if you don’t feel progress is being made. So, you need to be realistic, map out steps and actions over a longer period i.e. 6 – 12 months may be more realistic time frame. Remember – Its ok to step back in order to step forward.
